At about 2230 hours, 16 Aug 1953, my attention was called to a
very bright glow in the sky. Thisobject seemed to be of cone shape as
if it were a piece of pie. The object seemed to disappear then return
for about a minute, then disappeared entirely. Azimuth, about 270,
range, 4 to 7 miles, speed, unknown, shape, pie shape, color, red and
orange, weather, clear,
