The unknown phenomenon was a stationary white light that turned on and then off periodically, 40 miles ahead. N841MS, C560/L, MMUN to FLL at FL370 observed two separate white lights from the 12 o'clock and 80 miles ahead at much higher altitudes (37,000 and 50,000 feet) at 2638N/8103W.
