MURPHY 8 Douglas Road, Glen Ridge, y advised on the above date ternoon of November 5, 1957, her husband, lawn of their property • From a southwesterly rection they observed a long, cylindrical, dark silver object th no wings but fins on the rear, moving along toward the n.ortheas There were no marki.rtgs on the,i object, it was not flying high nor aet and they could not tell 1.f it made any noise since there was a plane flying nearby at the same time. She recalled there were no other neighbors out at the 'time and they apparently were the only ones who saw it. She stated that the object returned from the dire~tion it had gone about dusk and it seemed as though there was some motor noise from it. According SCHEY, the object had a shape reaeabliag that of an underwater deaolition boab and light, in the shape of a croas, waa colling fro• within this UFO. SCHEY stated that he, with the use of hia field glasses, was able to see what looked like diaaond-ahaped holes in the u:ro froa which the ligat eaitted.
